In Mikado, human crowds become immersed in a forest of oversized sticks, transformed into a monumental and unpredictable architecture. The childhood game where precision battled against the trembling of our fingers— is reimagined here as a vast landscape, a world to be traversed by tiny bodies moving through the geometry of chance.

The magnification of this scene takes us back to that first innocence: sticks that once fit in a child’s hand now rise as towering structures overwhelming the individual, reminding us how, in childhood, the smallest things could feel immense, and the immense could become our playground.

 This work is not only a nod to memory, but an invitation to recover the playful gaze with which we once inhabited the world: fragile, innocent, and profoundly human.
